A three-day group exhibition hosted by The Urgency of Art Magazine.

We're inviting 6–8 artists to take over Brompton Chapel for a long weekend in August. This is an artist-led, non-profit exhibition — built on collaboration, shared resources, and a belief that urgent work deserves urgent space.

Brompton Chapel is a circular space in London, with natural light pouring through its centre. A venue that invites scale, presence, and tension between the sacred and the contemporary.

For this exhibition, we're working with a plinth-based layout — seven artists shown around the perimeter, each with their own plinth presentation, and one additional artist invited to create or place a centrepiece work beneath the natural light at the heart of the chapel.

This is a non-profit, artist-led exhibition supported by the chapel and the charity organisation behind it. There is no submission fee, and no fee paid to artists.

In return for the platform, exhibiting artists share two costs:

  • Opening night drinks (split equally among exhibiting artists)

  • Printing of the exhibition pamphlet (split equally among exhibiting artists)

We're open to:

  • Emerging and established artists

  • UK-based and international

  • Site-responsive proposals are encouraged but not required

Simply apply by filling in your email and artist website / Instagram handle. We'll review your work online and get in touch to discuss future arrangements.
