Starting from the often underexplored experiences of Northeast Asia, this exhibition seeks to rethink “lines” as a way to explore the tension between linear history and nonlinear memory.

We welcome works that respond to Northeast Asian memory, as well as broader “post-Northeast” experiences—including themes of memory, migration, shifting identities, regional history (particularly industrial transitions, cultural contacts ), as well as intergenerational emotions and fragments that resist articulation. Works that engage with the concept or visual elements of “lines” will be prioritised.

Through artistic exchange and public discussion, we aim to create a space that holds emotional and memory archives, and to weave new experiences and connections with different communities.
